Here we are, baby! The final countdown has begun for fun! We are in October now and spending countless hours getting everything ready for your return to Gainesville, FL for FEST 19!
Lots of reminders and updates below so please check it out and make sure to share the love with helping us get the word out.
First off: We have had a bunch of bands have to bow out of FEST this year. I know I know…it’s a bummer but we totally understand why they can’t make it. Everyone has different reasons for why this year is just not their year to FEST it up but they all give their love and wish they could be here. Instead of focusing on who will not be here… let’s get hyped on who WILL be here to party with us.
Recently we added the following bands to the stacked lineup for FEST 19!

We also added a few more sets where FEST bands will be doing fun cover sets and some super secret MYSTERY BAND sets…where you will find some of the “bigger” fest bands playing intimate club shows for us all.

FEST EXPRESS TO ORLANDO
NEED A RIDE TO ORLANDO AIRPORT (MCO) ON MONDAY NOVEMBER 2nd?
Don’t look any further, because we have you covered! You can ride in style with a bunch of other FEST FRIENDS on the FEST EXPRESS. We have partnered with a top notch charter bus company. Each bus has 55 seats. We are calling this sweet ride the FEST EXPRESS. This premium coach bus service comes with cold cold A/C, restrooms, large luggage area, free Wi-Fi & DVD entertainment system where we will be screening a movie of Tony’s choosing!
The bus leaves straight from the Holiday Inn in Gainesville on MONDAY 11/2 at 11:00am and goes direct to the Orlando International Airport (MCO). Seats are limited so grab yours now. Bus seats can be purchased in the web store on the ticket page.

This is the best way to make sure you get the styles and sizes you need and save time. Your items will be ready and waiting for you at FEST REGISTRATION for you to scoop when you pick up your passes. You will also SAVE MONEY because the prices on all of these pre-orders will go up weekend of FEST so order now while they are cheaper.

VOLUNTEER FOR FEST and GET A 3-DAY PASS
If you live in the Gainesville area (or have volunteered for PRE-FEST or FEST and done a good job) and want to help out and be a part of THE FEST 19, here is your chance. THE FEST is looking for kickass, friendly and serious volunteers. Volunteers are always needed to help run FEST. We offer a free three day pass to anyone who works a shift the weekend of. You will also get a volunteer discount on a VOLUNTEER ONLY FEST SHIRT. This is a design that no one but FEST 19 Volunteers have access to. (Shirt purchase is not mandatory. Black shirts are ok to wear during shifts). A shift runs about 6-8 hours and is anything from working registration, the door, helping bands load equipment, stage/barricade security, slinging beers to being a rock star stage manager.

COVID SAFETY AT FEST 19
We here at FEST want to do everything in our part to make FEST 19 the safest and funnest experience for all of our attendees, performers and volunteers/staff.
We have updated our COVID WELLNESS PROTOCOLS to help ensure that we are able to FEST SMART!
FEST ATTENDEES WILL BE ASKED TO SHOW: A negative PCR COVID-19 test or a full COVID-19 vaccination when picking up their passes or single show tickets.
FEST STAFF, VOLUNTEERS, AND PERFORMERS: Will ALL BE VACCINATED and MASKED when interacting with each other and attendees.
MASKS: Masks are required for entry at all FEST venues and while waiting in lines, when ordering food, merch, or beverages, inside restrooms and anywhere you can not socially distance yourself from others.
If the venue is an inside venue, we ask that you help keep the spread down by wearing a mask when you are not actively eating or drinking.
Masks are strongly encouraged at all times for those who are not fully vaccinated. Masks will be required of all staff and volunteers when working closely with performers and attendees.
Why is this policy necessary?
Taking this step ensures the safety of our guests, staff, and the artists, and implementing this simple measure minimizes risk and the spread of the virus. FEST policy also requires mandatory vaccinations for staff, volunteers and all performers and their crew and this is an extension of those precautions. We are asking you to help us do the same in taking the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of not only yourself but the people around you attending, working, and performing.
